you B&G Suspension number is wrong. those spings arent released yet (yes i know it says that on the site). But i am sponsored by them and have their springs. The springs are actually designed for a celica. the drop would be about 2" all around. I have yet to install them, but will be soon.

on the subject, do you think i would rub with them installed when i have 19"x8.5" wheels (225/35/ZR19 Tires)?

Des, please create up a new topic for this post as it could take a lot to explain properly and is way off topic. Google it too, it will give you a good explaination as well.

This is a great thread, let's keep it up to date, stickied, and kept on track.

Yo reag, you got anymore of those spring rates handy, like for other springs on the market. They definitely put ride quality in perspective as far as the stock vs. TRD. I thought the TRD's might have been to rough for me, but since the spring rate is so similar to stock, I think I might be able to put them on even with the horrible streets in Boston.

You might want to look into some progressive rate springs. My H&R are suppose to be an average of 20% stiffer spring rate. At normal driving the springs feel about the same as stock but at turns you can definetly notice the stiffer rate. This is good because the springs are stiff when you need it and soft when you dont. However, if you are building an autocross setup you want an linear rate spring because it is stiff at all times. Progressive rate springs will not control body roll as well as linear rate springs because it is designed to forgive to a certain degree(Thats why i got sways bars). Just think of doing a tight chicane section, you do not want the springs to forgive and create body roll.

i had the H&R sports on my old accord. they were way to stiff for driving in Boston, at least for my preference. i think ill most likely end up going TRD because the stiffness most closely matches with stock... unless i can get my friend to order me some custom springs through his dads racing team.

For anyone looking for springs I really suggest the Tein S-Techs. They ride as good or better than the factory springs. The stance on the car is awesome compared to most.
