What Stiffer/Harsher???
ahhhh
stiff is mostly due to the springs. so with the same springs, the ride is going to be more of the same
the shocks primary job is to keep the car from bouncing and to absorb... "shock" stiff shocks = less traveling up and down.
the TRD struts are ideal with the TRD springs so its going to be smooth and good

To add to L4rry B1rd's question, does anyone have the TRD Spring/Shock-Strut set up on their car? If so did you drive the car with out being lowered? Did your ride suffer.
I am planning on getting the EMX 18's and maybe lowering my car... but I just came out of a 2004 BMW 325ci Sport with 18's, the car rode like sh%t, it cornered like mad and stuck to the road but there was a price for that. I don't want to go back to the same harsh ride if I can avoid it, can I have some opinions on your experience with the TRD setup...
