Default reliability

Looking to buy the tC in July and was wondering how the reliability has been so far on the xA and xB? And have the Scion dealers been good to work with?

Thanks.

agree.

i have over 18,000 miles...no prob...

i lowered mine with GoldLines springs..and have over 16,000 miles on them...no prob with the 2" drop on the suspension.

i have changed my intake to K&N typhoon and added Branzanch ZEO exhaust...no prob there either with over 3,000 miles with them.

i drive my box hard daily...and i'm surprised how well it's holding up to the test. Toyota makes quality stuff.

My xB is my 4th new Toyota, and I've never done anything except oil changes. The check engine light came on once in my Echo, but it was a loose gascap. (Which the jerks at Dublin Toyota said was "missing" and charged me $100 to replace, but that's another story...)

my Grand Caravan, on the other hand, has had a cracked gastank and the rear wiper is broken and it's only a year old. It also averages about 18MPG on a good tank...

Don't forget, this car's only "new" here in the US, they've been beating on them in Japan since 99...

remember that the tC is getting the camry engine which has been around for a while and is very reliable. you will have no worries about the reliablity of the engine. the only problems i see are from the car being really new and working out the little bugs there.

From what i have heard in many auto magazines, toyota does plan to phase out the celica, and the tC is a perfect replacement
