Default vvt-i timer

So people tell me that for hondas you can get v-tec timing so you can program it when you want it to kick in. Is there something like this for vvt-i (since v-tec and vvt-i are basically the same thing) or is someone making something or what?

did you bother to search at all about this? there are several posts regarding that very topic. The term you are looking for is cam-con.
