Went to get the rattle fixed again, after the dealer allegedly performed the TSB on file a couple of months ago and it failed to fix it then. They are saying they have new information that it is the moonroof visor arms that need to be replaced, and ordered them. Unfortunately, no part number is on the invoice.

For the vent, I guess there is a TSB out about it, concerning the CENTER vents. For whatever reason this service department erred in thinking my problem was with the center, and replaced it according to TSB. But it's my left vent that has problems. The description for what they installed was "Register Assy, IN" Part 55670*21030*B0

I'm going back once they get in a left vent, and report how it's working.

I went in last week for my left vent too. I told them there was a TSB out for the problem but I don't think they did a damn thing to it. BTW what dealership did you go to?

Yeah there is a TSB ouy only for the center moving vents. I luckily dont have this problem, but i had the moving left vent, all they did was order me a new one and replaced it just last week...hasnt moved since...i am so happy now

so are all these dealerships hiring trained monkeys? unreal, you tell them "look, the left vent is moving" and they go "oh yeah center vent needs to be replaced".. can you say stupid people? i can

i think it's time to find yourself another dealer. The one you're going to is pretty stupid. Seems like one thing after another with these dealers.. wow.. it's a wonder these toyota engines last at all with workmanship like that!
