i'm considering hosting a GB on OEM CF hoods for the xB and wanted to gauge interest before i contact the admin. i'm haven't been that active here but i've hosted several custom CF group buys on matrixowners.com

the price would be $450 + actual shipping (FedEx Ground, UPS Ground, or Greyhound) + $15 handling (custom box and padding).
the CF hoods are ready to ship and are also available for local pickup at our shop in downtown LA. you get the savings of buying factory direct and also pay actual shipping.

450 is way too much, there are others that contribute alot to this site, and are trusted within the community offering similar cf hoods for near 350.

Just some advice--at 450 i promise you won't sell a single one...and that's without s/h too.

 

i saw on the store link that there was one for $389 but nothing close to $350.

so what would be a good price for you guys?

also, what else would you guys like custom made in CF? for parts that need to be fabricated, we require 10 buyers minimum and a 50% deposit to cover the initial production costs.

 

A REAL Carbon dash, or parts of the dash. A steering wheel with airbag support would be SO HOT. Any interior part in real carbon, none of this stick on crap, actually molded stuff is hot.

at this time we're leaning away from fabricating a CF grille. we took on a CF grille project for the Toyota Matrix and it turned out to be very time consuming and costly.

so no one is interested in a CF hood for $350?

 

I'm interested ... would be nice ... but right now a bit lean on funds ... concidering I just picked up a muffler ... maybe in a month or two ... but ya gotta give it more than a few hours to guage interest... just a friendly suggestion :D

If the silver carbon fiber hoods are 325 for single sided, then these should be 285 at most for a group buy. A while back, there was a group buy at Island Motorsports for 235 single sided and 285 double sided carbon fiber OEM hoods

 

whats the link to the carbon grill, i didnt see it.

 

it's brand new. i still have to check it out for myself
