here is a picture of my car at the last show. i got some cheap rectangle foglights, mainly for looks. they shine yellow and a bunch of other colors and make a cool pattern on the ground. i flush mounted them in the corners of the honeycomb grill, and then put a randode racing aluminum grill over the lights so it would look clean.

here is a closeup of the foglight.

I put some old school PIIA light on mine. If you are going to put any aftermarket foglight on the bottom of the grill, be sure to clear the towing bolt next to it.

Thanks Erik! These Piaa fog lamps have been sitting in my garage since '95. I was going to put them on my Civic then. I think I got a good home for them now! Nice grill setup on you XB! By the way Gabe (Stylis) say's "What's up!". Late...

I ordered some PIAA driving lights for my xB. They're the 6 inch rounds IIRC. I made a new bracket out of aluminum, and am adding the xenon(?) bulbs. Once I get the HID installed, I'll be able to see just about everything in front of me. Central Valley fog won't be slowing me that much this winter!

squirrel,
can't wait to see that, and where you mount them. i was thinking about that myself...part of the "winterization" of my bB.

Y'know, you could put some decent sized fog or driving lights into the top "grille" pretty easily. Just cut the grille to clear, make brackets to go back to the structure behind and you're in business!

It was pointed out to me at the Canyon Cruise that the top "grille" isn't a grille at all, but a solid panel shaped to make it look like a grille. It's a nice big opening to put stuff if you need it!

Default aftermarket fog lights

Hi everyone! Ive been surfing the site for about a month, and got my xb about 2 weeks ago. Great Site!!

I just wanted to put the word out that i will be selling aftermarket fog light kits for the XA and XB. It will include the housing, relay, and switch. The kit looks pretty much like the factory kit. I dont have pricing info but i will keep you all posted.

thanks

from what I read at the overboost post, xB are pre-wired and all you need are the foglights, relay and the switch...I have an xA and I couldn't find the wires/switch/plugs , guess xAs are not pre-wired ?

The XB is prewired. What i forgot to mention is that the XA kit will actually come with wires with oem style connectors for easy install. No Pics yet. It looks identical to the factory. The interior switch may be a little different, but will definatly fit in the foctory hole.

You guys might find that the Hella Optilux 1300s fit.. they're 3.5" round fogs. With a nice white bulb in there they should look pretty good.

Has anyone found a generic or cheap replacement for the stock foglight relay (xB)?
Are they available and if so, how much are they from Toyota?

Conicelli sells one.. here's a listing for the '03 echo, probably the same part though.

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...=34&model=Echo

Look through the list for the relay.. sells for $40.65
