I have been thinking about it for a while now, but all I have seen is the 3M adhesive kit & it is very expensive ($180). I would do it in a minute for $50.

If you're interested we have the chrome boor handles for the xB. Thet are not the 3M stickers either. They actually replace the door handle itself.

This could take awhile, you don't get a body like his by being unlazy.

I'll second what he says...his door handles are quite nice.

However, you'll be waiting awhile on him getting un-lazy.....

You katz are right, those handles look tight. If one of you really gets un-lazy why don't post some pics to show how to replace the old handles. I understand that this will take some serious un-lazification to the Max, but you will help a poor brother out.

My handles are the real thing too, and they look, and work great!!! Dealer installed mine for me, but I can't remember the exact cost.

they actually installed very easily
remember to roll the windows up after you get the door panel off
and a small pick tool to pry the lock rod off/on
other than that a 10mm is all you need (i think)
i was a mechanic, but this was very very easy
take your time and get some real tools

Nice Boxx!

Do the accompanying instructions with the handles give good step-by-step directions for completing the task? I will need this because I have no idea where to start.

I didn't want to start a new thread, but does anyone have any pics of chrome door handles on a Camouflage Metallic xB? I am wondering how it looks. Thank you in advance.
