It's really bad on bumpy roads for me. Anyone fix this themselves? How do you do it?
you can take the unit ot and use some grease takes 5 seconds if its a manual did you change radio lately?i just pu a d-1 my door was squeaking but i put frame and sound seems to be gone
It must be just the hinge or one of the rubber bumpers in the door system. Mine started squeaking slightly about a month ago and all I did was wiggle and tweak the door a bit and it went away for good.
Some of these little rattles and squeaks only needs a bit the owner's manipulation of the offending squeaky or rattley part to "fix".
I think people shouldn't waste their time going to the dealers for such minor things if it could only take a few minutes or even just seconds of your time to fix right in your own garage.
this thing drives me crazy! Even with my bass pounding the crap out of my tC. i still hear this shi$! Is this cause from a HU upgrade? Any1 with the stock HU have this problem? I dont remember me having this problem when my stock HU was there? too long ago. I made an appointment with my dealer about this but idk if i should take out the aftermarket HU and put the stock one in? Please reply. cause im going nuts!
Mine squeaks too ONLY when it's open and going through bumpy roads BUT once I close it, the squeaks are gone! Lucky me...that's my only problem with squeaks, rattles, etc etc...I never had any noise with the wind deflector and hatch rattles like most people have posted here...I have a 2006...maybe they have fixed those problems that the 2005s were having.
i think i fixed mine? (knocking on wood!) i just tightend the screws on the sides i guess where the little rotor moves, make that tighter and spray some WD40 type stuff and your good. I hope! Dont take my word on it.
Good deal. I fixed mine by placing rubber bumpers in 4 different locations. I placed 2 inside on each side in the back in the way of the door fully opening, and I placed 2 more between the vents and the thing below them. No more squeak.
