Whatever happened to the Alderwood Mall "Uber Unveiling"...

Seems like forever since the tease was out.... and I haven't seen too much....

Anyone have info on this?

What seems to be the case is that it is an xB and worded like it is turbo'd up a bit or such....

Just curious.... wish someone would want a tC to go ballistic with up here... they could always borrow mine!

 

think it may be this fiday... i think... if i remember correctly... but could be wrong....
i'll have my own little unveilling for those in the northend too... tho "spy pics" have already been posted from first unveiling

 

I'm not Jake, nor can I speak for him, but I can assure you that the car is completed and now back in his possession. He'll have to put a reply on here re: whether he thinks he can make the Fri meet or not, but it is done and set to "unveil"
FYI- I haven't seen it either...

hmmm....lets see friday, alderwood, 8pm......I work downtown, live in Des Moines, so going home and coming back most likely won't happen. Ummm...staying on this side of town for 2.5 hrs. until the meet happens is kind of long to wait. I don't know what to do, but I kind of want to go to the meet, since I haven't been to ANY!

 

lol... hey im in similar boat... work downtown (next to pacific place) live in auburn.... on the plus side.. i get off at 6p... so the wait isnt that bad.....
heck it is at a mall.. .you could do some window shopping at least

 

lol...window shopping is not in my vocab. The fact that I will be getting paid on friday and aimlessly browsing through the mall is a bad combination. That's pretty funny, we live not too far from eachother (I'm assuming because auburn isn't that far from Des Moines) and work pretty close. I'll have 2.5 hours as I get off at 5:30, but because work is usually slow on fridays it will be more like like 5. Maybe if I can find something to do between that time I will try to make it. I know you guys have just been dying to meet me...lol....j/k.

yeah.. i live off the exit 1 past the kent/des moines one..272nd.... well if coming from the south get off at the 320th one... im between those 2 and about 1.5miles (as the crow flys) from the free way.. maybe 2...

oh wow you are really close to me, I usually get off of 272 and have to back track just a few blocks. I'm out and around 320th all the time. I'll be going out that way tonight to pick up another hampster at PetCo...going to be named TC, got one on tuesday name her xB.

Seattle is a bit of a trip right now, as I've been all over too much lately with my cars and can't reallly afford to put too many more miles on them right now...

Also, I don't want to do much until I get my roll bar painted and mounted in the car again, as I'm waiting for it all to get together before bringing it out again...

Primed it tonight, till I ran out of primer... It should be able to be painted on saturday.... then it's fiberglass fab time for the trunk!

You guys have to post pics of what the "Unveiling" is...

 

Nov. 25th would be the 4th Friday of this month which would make it the Alderwood meet. I think I might pass... thats.... BLACK FRIDAY!!!!!!!!

 

ok so nevermind what I Just said. I SWORE alderwood meets were on the 4th friday?!

 

The OCT NOV and DEC "4th Friday meets" became "3rd Friday meets" because of hoew close those dates fell to Halloween, Turkey Day and Xmas

 

Thanks wedrive....I see you live in Portland or thereabout, which can almost be called my second home. I have some family that live in that area and I went to school at Western Oregon (if you know where that is). I'm planning on coming down that way sometime in May, so maybe we can hang out. Eventhough I been around Portland I'm still not that familiar with it.

I still don't know if I'm going to go to the meet or not, I think it will be up for debate until the time comes. I guess I'll just have to see what I feel like after work. Would anyone be done to maybe grab a bite to eat before the meet. **Just an idea to waste some time**

 

Hey, I'll text you too in case you're not still online. I work in downtown Redmond on Fridays and I'll be off at 5:30. As long as you wanna go somewhere on the cheap-ish side (payday's a ways away still) I'm down. Then we can head up that way togather...

Maybe the Red Robin or something right around the Redmond Town Center area?
