has anyone thought of doing a motor swap from the tc into there xb
1.5 to a 2.4???

There has been celica motors put into echos, so the 1.8L should fit, but very tight.

to put the 2zz in you need to cut the firewall.

a busa moter not a bad idea i have seen 300-400 hp turbo busas so it would be cool. but hooking it up to the tranny could be hard

the motor is a the 2zz.

the older model elise has an integra type-r engine in them. look at the elise's they have for sale.

nope they did used to run a b18~ (d isit?) before the 2zz

B18C jdm type r swap, ive never heard that the elise came with type r motors thats weird, wonder if i could get a honda motor in the scion, then i could get some power outta this _____, honda vtec is my kung-fu

These are the pictures of our 1999 Elise, available for track use only, we also have a Type R motor freshly built to go into this car if there is any interest.

I dont think that they actually mean Honda Type R motor, theres alot of Type R things ex: Jaguar S-type Type R

the evo motor would present a whole new area or problems....first being its 2 litre size second, the awd, i know bbs can be awd from japan, howver i dont think the systems are anywhere close to being compatable, why dont people explore the options of this motor, build it, sleeeve the block and spend some time really planning internal mods and who knows, could be a lot better than any of us can imagine

Yes they do the Elise came with an ITR motor new.
The new ones come with the K20 RSX-R motor.
