I've been noticing something about everyone here and that a common thing has popped up.
I've seen plenty of comments and mods on Intakes, Headers and Axle-Back systems, but the striking question is; What about the rest of the exhaust??
I know some have done a full exhaust system and that is why I am writing this post. I am planning on running a Strup Axle-Back, Strup header, and K&N Typoon. I'm curious however how much a full exhaust would be from the header back to the axle back... I'm planning on doing a 2" system from front to rear...
Now the only thing is that i'm a major n00b and worried that by opening up the stock system, would that start issues with backflow or if I am even talking about the same thing..
Any advise will be helpful in regards to this.
Thanks!

I'm pretty sure the stock piping size from header to axle is already 2", though if you were going to bypass the resonator that is supposed to produce some extra power.

the stock exhaust is like 1.3" - 1.5", not sure. If you are going to change the rest of the exhaust from the header to the axle-back you will loose your cat and your resonator, unless oyu weld those in to the new piping or buy an aftermarket resonator and a high-flow cat. If you do put 2" all the way you will loose power in the low end of your revs, but the high end is going to be LOUD and powerful.

Hmm, thanks for that advice. This makes me reconsider because i perfer the low end. I like the high end to be a bit loud and powerful, but for this area, the low is much better with all of these damned hills
