Default Hwy Driving

Is it worth buying an xa if 80% of your
driving is going to be on the highway? (auto)

I wouldn't see why not. That's where the fuel economy would be best and it's better on the car than stop and go city driving with your speed down and up and back from 0-45

I would, that's why I got mine. Auto as well and revs to @3000-3200 at 65 mph.

One thing to note if youre going to be doing a lot of highway driving with either the xb or xa:

automatic @ 80 mph = 3500rpm
manual @ 80 mph = 4000rpm

Absolutely. Most of my use of my '05 xA is commuting on highways and rural roads. Best mpg I have gotten for my daily trek is 39 mpg. Additionally, I get my best mileage when running between 60-65 mph. Usually just on the low side of 3000 rpm.

Go for it, you'll never look back.

Andy
