That article should be disregarded since they can't even get their facts straight. Scion openly targets gen Y and NOT gen X as that article states. Since they can't even get the target market correct, they might get other facts incorrect as well. My main fact? The Scion xB is so hard to keep in stock, that our dealership has a waiting list to get one. "Unpopular" indeed .

Young or old !! It's just about the one of the best cars for the money around for fun and a little excitement. I'm OLD, and i'm doing things to my box just like the Y's are. Maybe it's mid life or something but WHO CARES>>>.....I love my box !!! I don't care what they say...... BTW I was at a honda car show and won the trophy for honorable mention, amoung tons of honda metal........So there !!! HE HE HE

It's an exaggeration to call this "disturbing" or even "news." It wouldn't be the first or last time the xB is ridiculed for its unique (at least to the U.S. market, cars of this shape and size are not unheard of in Europe or Asia) looks.

I bought mine in July, and just turned 40. Who cares who it's marketed to anyway? It's a car and for me most of the fun is in the driving, and the looks I sometimes get from other drivers.

"Disturbing news" would be something like finding out the xB was being recalled for a serious defect or something like that. I opened the headline on the front page of the site, thinking it was something critical to know about. Puhleeez...

I think it's on the list as an ugly automobile?? Perhaps I missed the point of it when I saw it earlier in the day...

First I'll move this out of 'Scion News & Press Releases' then I'll lock it and refer folks to
http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=94638

(I can't think of even ONE car that has not been panned by some reviewer or group. No matter how good something is, not matter how well it fills the needs of those who want one, somebody won't like it. )
