Ok, so I've had this Borla exhaust sitting in my basement for a month now because I haven't had a free day to install it. I have read previous posts saying that it was a simple install but I always run into some snag and end up being late for work. I finally caved today though. Woke up bright and early, jacked up the rear, got my trusty can of WD-40 and a mere hour later had the new exhaust on! It was the easiest install yet. I had more trouble getting the intake in a month ago. Anyway, you all have probably heard Minsk's sound file on this exhaust. Low and throaty, but a bit quiet. I'm happy with the results though. I didn't want a loud exhaust and this one is only slightly louder than stock. Minor HP gain at higher rpm, and looks sweeeeet! I'll post picks soon if anyone is interested. -Sam :D

 

I am glad you finnaly got out and did the exhaust yourself. Its always good to hear someone working on there car. :D

I had Borla on my chevy truck, sounded the same, deep and throaty but not too loud.
I was very happy with it...good quality (had it 10 years!)

I'd like something throatier than stock for accelerating, but also quiet at cruising (droning exhausts need not apply).

 

Does this mess up the warrenty? I orderd my xb ( not available yet here in Minnesota), and the Borla exhaust is one of the top things on my list...But not if the warrenty is at stake.
