Default super charger noise???

Hey all. Just installed my supercharger last night and am having a issue. About 3500 rpm the supercharger is making some serious resonation noise or vibrating. does not do it before or after 3500 rpm.....Any thoughts? It is very loud and annoying. It serously sounds like somethings is not right. Anyone run into this?

did you align the belt with the idler pulley while running, if so it tells you on the manual to add shims?

double check the mounting braket on both sides

did you do your reflash?

if you can manage to do a sound clip it be nice.

well, considering there could be numerous things to check, as said by tikbhoy, i would just make it easy on yourself, just take it to the dealer, and have one of the techs drive it around with you in there, and let him hear the noise!

thats the beautiful thing about the warranty, better take advantage of it..

My tC spent 2 days at the dealer for the post-install vibration hunting. It was resonating wildly and the techs agreed that something had to be done about it. They pulled the dash and foamtaped anything they could find. It's much better now, but still not perfect. When I asked them if they want to call corporate and let them know about the vibration fix they said "hell no - I'd never want to go through this process again".

So I hope you have a very good relationship with your service advisors / techs.
