True. I also left out darts, roller derby, cycling and the Iron Chef. But then... the list would go on-and-on.

I left out autosports on purpose.

My next topic will go even further by entering the world of personal grooming habits.

But I digress!

I love the NFL. I watch the Suns whenever I can and college sports too but, since I was a kid on the couch with my Dad watching the Cowboys, I've been a huge fan of the NFL. I get into the mind games the strategy involves as well as the sheer force of will it takes to be successful as a team.

Ok, well. i'll toss my 2 cents in for this.
I'll stop and see what is going on with a game when I am surfing the tv but, not watch the full game.
The last major pro sports strikes have ruined the aspect of the game for me.

You poor man, being forced to watch the dallas cowboys as a child. Sounds like
child abuse to me I'm more apt to watch a college game as apposed
to a pro game. I been know to have 3 or 4 tv's hooked at one time to watch different
games on different chanels. Thank god also for picture in picture when there are two
different auto races on tv at the same time too.

Hey Mark I do chear for the cowboys at least once a year -- thats when their playing
the redskins -- I hate the redskins

College basketball is the only sport (other than the Steelers) that I can sit down and watch an entire game, it doesn't matter who's playing. I will try to watch both college and NFL football, but I usually end up going to sleep.

The NBA is just a fullcourt game of one-on-one with extra bodies out there as obstacles. I've lived in Arizona all my life, so I don't even know what hockey is, I think there is ice involved. My dad doesn't like baseball, so I kind of inherited that from him.

College football is the best to watch. Every game counts because of the bowl system and I love it. I mean, come on, in the NFL, an 11-4 team is considered a good probability for a playoff berth, and in college a team that has lost more than once has absolutely no chance for the National Championship. The college football season is actually just a very technical playoff system but whatever, i could go on for days about this whole ordeal.
Later.

i voted for basketball because thats the only game i can stand to watch more than .23567 seconds of. I get bored watching sports. I only watch basketball every once in a while because its the only sport i like to play. In my house we never really watched sports.

collected baseball cards when i was a kid though

College Football is my favorite to watch. I just hope ASU can get to to a BCS bowl before i graduate. The Insight game was fun but it doesn't compare to a major bowl....Anyway, i'de rather watch any type of college sport over a professional sport. I think the athletes put alot more effort into winning when their not getting paid $10 million.

Me too.. I'm actually rooting for the Eagles and Falcons this week. If one of them wins, and Dallas beats the Rams, the Cowboys are in the play-offs!!

And I wasn't abused!!! Big time role models on that those teams. Roger Staubach, Bob Lily, Tom Landry, Danny White, Randy White.... tons more.

They had a linbacker named Thomas "Hollywood" Henderson. Didn't last long in the league but had one memorable quote: "Terry Bradshaw's so dumb he couldn't spell cat if you spotted him the C and the A."

Of course, he was wrong about Bradshaw.

Hey, I figure if it doesn't have off-season conditioning then it doesn't count as a team sport.
