Squirrel's Thunder Cloud xB This month’s featured ride belongs to Bradley Chun. To his friends, and those on Scion Life and Matrixowners.com, he is known as “Squirrel”. Squirrel is a 40-year-old police officer and US Army Reserve senior drill sergeant, and lives in the NorCal area of California. Brad bought his Thundercloud Metallic xB as a commute car, but it has since evolved from its stock form to what you see here over the past year. He has not stopped evolving and has many other plans for his car. Brad has owned many Toyotas before, and they were all heavily modified. He has had a 1976 Celica GT Liftback with an 18RG, another “stock” 1976 Celica GT liftback with dual Weber side-draft carburetors, and currently owns a modded 2003 Matrix XR, besides his 2004 Scion xB. “I prefer to drive my xB on a daily basis” writes Brad, although he says that he enjoys driving his Matrix to paintball tourneys as he can pack more gear into it. “Sure the Matrix can handle a lot better, and is a bit faster, but the xB is a lot more fun overall”, writes Brad. Brad draws his inspiration from those in the NorCal area, Scion Evolution, and from meeting other owners and enthusiasts. It’s not uncommon for Brad to drive from NorCal to SoCal and to hang out with his fellow Scion Evolution members, and other enthusiasts. Not to mention going to Super Autobacs. Stereo work was performed by Chris Foster of Rockstar Customs and includes a Pioneer DEH-7600, Audioformz subwoofer enclosure, custom 10 inch subwoofer enclosures under the front seats, Arc Audio equalizer, amps and subwoofers. yes i see know how old it is. awesome grille though wish they were still around. and why did they only make 6 where they just to expensive or did nobody like em in da beginning?
