Depending on your VIN # it may be "more probable" that if the deflector was in the up position and "road debris" hit it, that it could shatter the deflector and shower you with glass...

The "recall" (TSB) is putting a piece of a rockblocker type material on the INSIDE of the wind deflector so it would do more of a spiderweb/safety glass thing if it was impacted.

That's how I understand it at least.

It is only if you have the right VIN number and are part of the recall. I think most are and all the recall does is put a clear piece of plastic on the wind deflector to stop it from raining down glass if a rock or something hits the deflector (while up) driving down the road.

The die cast is a Scion esclusive and given only to those with tC's that get the recall done, I need to get mine done so I can get my Jada tC.................

there are'nt that many that ae on recall when we got the paperwork at TOLC there were only about 65 cars that were sold at our dealer that needed it done did anyone see the tc that went for over $100.00 on ebay would'nt sell mine though waited to long to get and it is a limited car

Dude, you cant sell that thing........you will be drummed out of Scionlife if you do. It is sacrilege .......
