Default From ScionSpeed Disaster to ZPI Race Car in 30 days

After alot of hard work and putting together a car that showed up in shambles, ZPI made right what SCIONSPEED ruined. When Kenny said the car was gonna be pefect, I thought it couldnt be done. He proved me wrong. My car went from having a blown motor to hauling absoulte ___. The motor was replaced. He turbo kit was completely re-engineered. Every pipe was replaced. I had to replace a whole lot of stuff. Scionspeed fried my e-manage. That was replaced. All the oil lines had to be replaced, not because they were damaged but because they were the wrong size. New oil pan...again wrong size bung. We added a new ZPI v2 pully, Zenon headlights, AEM wideband controller,CM stage 3 clutch and a whole lot of tuning on the mustang dyno. I flew up to louisville to pick up the car thursday... the first words out of Kenny's mouth "wanna go for a ride in your car" ... hell yes... This was before the pully... and before the dyno...the car had never been that fast... he says... "still gotta go to the dyno.. make more power....i say sure..why not... He made 290 whp and 320 ft/lbs of torque on a mustang dyno...this should be good for over 300whp on a dynojet after the pully upgrade @ 11 lbs of boost with A/F 10.1 to 1 ( very rich/safe). The crew ZPI was great and answered all my questions. Best experience ive ever had with any shop. I'll tell kenny to post on this thread . He can tell the story of how the car came together better than i can.

Rob,

Thanks for the kind words...The guys in the shop did wonders with car. I was starting to think at one point that it would never run again... The car is setup on a very conservative tune ata bou 10.5,1 -11.2 is about the leanest it sees under boost. We had to replace the entire vehicle harness, the Emanage unit, and the MAF sensor. Sorry about the pics we were out of Blue tial BOV...

I know Rob mentions me a lot but the guys in the back are the ones who busted butt on this car and made a miracle happen after this car showed up in rubber maid containers....

Thanks again for the support it keeps us doing what we love and allows us to continue to bring new parts to the Scion community.

I'm very happy with this project. We were happy to see it leave under it's own power, especially considering how it arrived.. engine in the trunk.

The engine is stock...we did not replace rods or pistons....although there was someone getting that donne when i left louisville...his car is gonna be really really sick. Even on a conservative tune...my car breaks the tires loose in fourth...i know cause i whored my buddies G35 doing it. We desided not to go for big numbers considering what had happened to my car. Kenny felt it was best to go for str8 reliablity. I had to agree..i dont wanna do this again. As for install prices, they were great. I'm very happy with the experience. As you can tell from the pictures the turbo kit is real different from what it used to be. You can compare the pictures in my profile to the ones that kenny posted. Be quick about it though..cause im changing those real soon.

Yet again. ZPI does something to the extent that no other vendor would do. Good job guys!
