Default Mounting Troubs / Sirius sat

All I did was use the mounting arm it came with, you know, with the sucktion cup on the end, and put it on the bottom left hand side of my windshield over the speaker.
I was ok with that, but when I went out to my car this morning it was un sucked and resting on the dash. I couldn't get it to restick either....WTF????
Suggestions on a different mounting method/location?....Let me know. I appreciate it.

I hate that sucktion cup thing. why not mount it in front of the cup holders on that trim panel that wraps around the center console at the bottom of the dash? I had my JVC Sirius piece there for a while.

Fab up your own angle bracket that mounts the unit by the rear view mirror. Very easy to hide wires and keep it looking stock.
