Default Supercharger Rattle

I just had a quick question for the supercharged guys out there. Whenever I start my car for the first time in the morning my supercharger will rattle and the car will hesitate for a second before it finishes starting. Also while my car is running you can hear a rattle coming from the supercharger assembly itself. I was just wondering if anyone else had this rattle?

mine seems to take alittle longer to crank than before the supercharger. And I have had a few people that I have showed the Supercharger to ask why its making so much noise. And I dont mean the whining sound. But like belts and rattles and all. (instaaled at dealer with reflash)

Sounds like mine, I think it just might be where the supercharger is basically a belt driven accessory it just takes it a second. I think I'll run it to my dealer anyway though this week and have them check it out because it seems to be getting worse. I've got the ZPI pulley too but it's not related to that just to clear that up for anybody that's worried about it.

I just noticed that mine started doing that the other day as well...Im gonna set up an appointment one day to have them take a look at it this week. I have the NST pulley on there but I dont think it has any relation to it either.

dont worry about the rattle..... your dealer should have told you about this if it was installed by them, or you should have read it yourself in the instruction manual that came with the supercharger.

it's right on page 38 (p)

Alright, I read that in the manual when I got it. I just didn't know if it was tellin the people that the whine of air going in their engine was normal or if it was talking about rattles too.
