Default After market rear spoiler?

Anyone know where i can buy it for cheaper than what the dealer wants for it. Also, how hard is it to install. Im thinking about just buying my xb with everything standard and then just doing everything after market. What do u guys think?

Doing everything aftermarket is prolly, the best (and cheapest) idea, dealer markups are a _____.

As far as the Spoiler, they're all prolly gonna be just as expensive or worse, plud you have to install it. IMO it'd be hard to do right.

Be patient. In due time there will plenty of after market equipment available at reasonable prices. After all a spoiler on a Scion is primary an appearance item. The only practical function it might serve is to prevent a few raindrops from reaching the rear window. $285 is way too much for this. Ironically in Japan I believe they only cost 12,000 yen (arround $115). Guess they aren't too popular. Normally accessories in Japan cost more than what we pay here.

Man, $285 for a spoiler that doesn't even have a brake light? This part is ridiculous. Get the BB/JDM spoiler for uner $200...

Or better yet, get the CF rear spoiler from Island Motorsports! Its cheaper, and looks better. It looks just like the factory one, but in CF. I was going to get it if I couldn't find the Fabulous rear spoiler.

well, I fell for it and got the factory spoiler , but now its worth a little more than what its worth since I got it. I added a LED third brake light, very bright and different. :D

Not needed for that. I don't have a spoiler (yet) but even in the heaviest rain we had this winter, the back window never got wet enough to run the wiper once without streaking. :? And don't even get me started on that dribbler of a washer nozzle. They should've put the sprayer on the arm...

And you've got a metallica shirt!

I'd say score one from japan, it can't be that much more expensive and the fabulous one looks.... fabulous compared to the OEM one.

Yeah he's the one who gave me the idea and asked for his blessing before I did it! He had a hell of a time with the body shop, he wanted to know how long it took me to get it done. There was a whole 2 page topic on it! :D
