Default Got the NST SC pulley! FREAKIN SWEET!

Man it is worth every penny. What a heck of an upgrade for not allot of coin. Car pulls much better through the whole RPM range, best of all partial throttle power has increased allot also when in boost. Pulley was a flawless fit, machine work is perfect and looks like a million bucks!

Took me a whopping 10 minutes max to install. I first removed the trd cap, poped right off with a little tug dealer did not put it on worth a crap" and then removed the pulley bolt, being carefull not to let the keyway fall out for it is loose. Then I used a 24" breaker bar with a 19mm short socket to loosen the auto belt tensioner "be carefull not to let the belt go off track on the other 30 pulleys haha" I slipped the stock pulley off, and slid the new on. Slipped the stock belt over it and let the tensioner go, put the bolt back / torqued and all was set! Just like that. As you can tell I have 4 arms haha. It is best to have two people if you cannot tell Makes it easy, and the other person can hold the belt tight so it does not go off track on another pulley.

Here is a pic of my sexy new toy! My butt dyno says.... and I quote... "weeeeeeee"

www.nonstoptuning.com Do not have the receipt on hand but it was a cheap upgrade compared to what it does for the car. Was like $90 + ship

Looks great, glad it gave you a good bump.

i just got mine in the mail today. the install seems pretty simple. i have yet to install it. one of my questions is - what is the auto belt tensioner that you mentioned?

inside the web of pulleys you will see an large 19mm 6 point bolt head looking thing sticking out. It is an autotensioner. That means to loosen the belt, put a breaker bar on that thing and pull fairly hard to the front of the car. You will hear a hydrolic sound and see the belt loosen. You have to hold it to the front of the car or it will re-tension the belt. Once all is in place and aligned then let go of the tensioner and it will tighten it all up.

took off the trd cap. that was on there really good, it took a while. seems like i've turned a simple install into a complicated one. the pulley bolt is one major pain. i know people say keep it in first, that doesn't help it just keeps spinning.

also do i need to use any special tools, air tools? read that some have been using an impact wrench.... i've just been using regular hand tools.

i'm going to try and get some help on it tommorow. if worse comes to worse i'm taking it to the local performance shop. embarassing, because everyone says it's simple.

also i've also read that some people didn't mess with the belt tensioner. is it possible to install it without messing with that?

Just wanted to know, what stats does this thing give?

EDIT:
wow...

Increased weight reduction
- Average of 60% - 80% over stock!

Increased horsepower
- Average of 7 - 10 wheel horsepower! <-- that true?

Lower ET's & higher trap speeds
- Average of .20s & average of 2MPH!

just for about 100 bucks.. Pretty good IMO.

I dont know the numbers for NST exactaly but it takes it from 7PSI to 9.5PSI, I really hope that is good for more than 7-10 Horsepower.

ZPI is getting 21 WHP out of theirs.

I really hope NST's is about the same.

The ZPI pulley makes 9psi

The NST pulley makes 9.5psi

If the ZPI pulley is making 20whp, there is no possible way the NST pulley is making less. Boost is boost. 9.5psi will ALWAYS be > 9psi. Just can't wait until somebosy gets it on the dyno

That is what I was thinking. For some reason i think the person that posted the stats is talking about a crank pulley.

We do need a dyno to see what the extra 5 psi gives.

You are getting this confused buddy. This is a supercharger pulley. It only works with the TRD supercharger, which you don't have. Currently there is no supercharger for automatic transmission. Hope that clears things up.
