Funny this shows up today...
My 1999 Corolla VE turned exactly 200,000 miles on the way hom from work yesterday. The only things I've had to do to it have been brakes, tires and oxygen sensors. Now that is impressive.
I wonder how I convinced my girlfriend with a brand new '04 Explorer to sell it and get an xB? Maybe it was because in the first year she owned the exlporer, she had it to the service department 5 times. Honestly, no exaggeration, 5 times. Twice it was there for over a week. Wiring harness, rear end bearings and gears, broken passenger power window motor, and soo much more. The best part- it stickered for $37,015!!! I guess she was getting a little bummed that my 'ol trusty Corolla, which cost 1/3 of her truck, was light years more reliable.
This is a subject I could go on forever about. So before I do, I'll stop.
