Default scion tc 1/8th mile run

hey all. this is my first post so i just wanted to say hay. Anyway, today is my schools drag day @ moorsville dragway and the scion will be goin. My baby is bone stock 5spd so it will be interesting to see what it will do. I'll post up some times for you and let you know what she ran. Oh yeah, I did get a chance to get some stock dyno runs with my tc. The #'s were not to impressive. On the mustang dyno, the tc ran 117hp and 130ft/lbs torque. Mustang dyno has very low numbers but oh well. I'll post those 1/8th mile runs later today. Thanks!

Cant wait to see your times.
Dont be discouraged about your dyno numbers. The true result will be if you mod it then go back to the same dyno and see the difference. That is the true result of a dyno.

ok, here are the results of todays drag day:
the fastest time:
10.017 @ 70.385mph
Reaction - 0.245
I1 - 2.222
I2 - 6.507

best reaction:
10.100 @ 70.331mph
Reaction - 0.039
I1- 2.279
I2 - 6.580

... and anything in between that is how the rest of the runs looked like. The first 4 runs had good starts with just a little wheel hop off the line, but the last 2 runs for some reason just could not get traction. AHHHH! Torwards the end of the day, the track people kinda slacked off with the "traction sand" and so the track got real slick. When future mods start to happen, i should have a good idea of what kind of gain im really getting. Just gotta save up some money. Moorsville dragway has test and tune saturdays so ill let you all know if i go one saturday> Maybe someone closeby can come up and race the Stock TC HEHE. Thanks all!

330': 6.445

Yep, my baby is bone stock. I had a blast at the drag strip. Its was great and the car was very consistant. The only thing i noticed is when im shiften to the next gear really quick, my friggin **** keeps rotating on the shifter. I have tighened the **** on all the way and it still moves on aggressive shifts. I was thinking of getting a TWM stage 2 w/ some weighted ****, but whould it do the same? Thanks.

I've got the TWM stage 2 and the stock ****, and it stays dead still for me. I did tighten it an extra 360 degrees from where most people would stop it though, so it's real solid.

I did that with my ****. It kept moving around on me so I turned it another full turn and now, its rock solid.
