De-badged xB, now what???
Alright, so I just got done debadging my xB so what should I do with my emblems? Anyone got any nifty ideas? I saw on the sticky that someone put them on the door to the bedroom, kinda not my style. I was thinking about putting them somewhere in the car. Some of you have put them on the compartment cover just under your stereo. I kinda like that, but how are you keeping the emblem on there? When I took mine off it left pretty much all the "sticky" on the car and none on the emblem. Does anyone know what else I can do with the emblems?
ive seen people put them up by the speedometer on that little lip there, ive seen them above the glove box in that little compartment, and my friend randy has a Maytag XB washer and dryer =)
I like some of those replies! I'm not going to replace the emblems, I like it without any, it's really clean looking. What do you use to afix the emblem back on to something without it leaving a residue on plastic?
Pick a number between 1 and 10.
Double it.
Add 4.
Divide by 2.
Subtract the first number you thought of from your new number.
Your answer is:
HERE
Simple math...not magic.
You can do that with any number essentially it is:
Pick a number 'x' in this example we will use 3 b/c I want to keep it simple
x=3
Multiply by 2 to get new number y
y=6
Later you divide by 2, so we will do this now
y / 2 = 3
Back to the same number you had.
Add 4(the magic number in this case), but we will divide this by 2 as well since it gets added before the division
4 / 2 = 2
Therefore you have:
3 + 2 - 3 = ****Your Number Here****
or simplified
5 - 3 = new number Z
Z = 2 it works with any number such as 35.
(35 * 2 + 4) / 2 - 35 = 2

Sorry to post all that, but it's been my goal since I joined to answer all of OBZ's riddles and questions in his sig. :D

To re stick the emblem just use 3M double sided tape, they will have it at any auto parts store, and use a razor blade to cut the tape to fit. Be sure if you are going to stick it in the interior to clean off the plastic panel with rubbing alcohol first because the tape will not stick to armor all.
only reason i debadged was to put the JDM bB badges on... it makes the xB more complete.
As for the Scion emblems... i put the rear on my PC case (blends in well cuz my case is aluminum). The front one is just sitting in my drawer... and the xB is laying around too. i think the xB logo is ugly.... the scion logo isn't too bad.
all in all... OG bB emblem is the best

my ____ is sitting in that owners manual case that scion gave me. i was actually thinking of putting mercedes emblems on mines seeing as how i think it looks like the g500. that would be tight as ____. but as for the scion and xb emblems you should put them on the engine cover and where the front license plate would be. that would be cool
i was gonna make a "yeeeehaw cowboy" belt buckle out of the front...heh saw some dude in the mall with a belt buckle that looked similar. how does the front come off? i wanna take it off but i don't wanna break anything!!!!
Just heat them up with a hairdryer, make sure you focus only on the badge. (or do it on a really hot day)
Then get a flat tip screwdriver with a cloth over the tip, so you dont scratch your paint, and pry it off. Any excess sticky stuff should come off by rubbing it off with your finger.
Then wax that spot and it will look just like the rest.
