Default First day with the xB 3.0 (Pics)

So I just got an 06 xB, the special 3.0 Envy Green edition, for my wife and I was quick to snap a few pics of it today.

We traded her Mazda6 towards it. The Mazda was a hell of a car, but she was getting sick of the gas prices and the high payment on the car so we went for the more "fun" and economical xB. When we saw the Envy Green at the dealer, we had to have it!

So anyways, here's a few photos to celebrate my first post on the boards!

When I got my xB a couple of months ago, I was not even aware of these special edition models, kind of wish I had researched this a little more before I got mine, but I love the TCM I did get just the same. You definitely can't beat the price, the MPG are great, but mostly the "Fun to Drive" factor won me over. Congrats on your new toy, Good Luck and Have fun!

I saw one of these the other day and it had a huge sticker on the back window that said "TREE HUGGER".

Just ordered a set of these because I can't stand the cheap wheel covers:

I'll post pics as soon as I get them and put them on.

Nice rims, nice color. BTW how's the weather up there on that stock suspension? Can't wait to see it dropped.

I had a set of Eibach Pro-Streets on my Mustang.

Any advantage to the Goldline's?

I agree Tanabe DF210s are good and fairly affordable. Check out my profile to see the look with 17" tires and wheels... Very firm and bumpy ride on the hwy but i rarely have clearace probs because they are stiff.... and the handling... well, its a front wheel drive go-cart.

Congrats on the new box and welcome to Scion life...I have the Gold-Line springs and rolling on 17's...I love my Gold-Lines...Full 2inch drop, no sag, and it rides way better than it did stock...I do not drag over speed bumps or humps and can get in and out of my driveway with zero problems...Good luck and post up some updated pics when your done installing the rims and springs....By the way, nice choice on your rim selection, those are gonna look sweet...

How much you pay for the Gold-Lines? I'm seeing around $220 or so...which is about what the Eibach Sportlines are running.

I dunno how much for a shop to do em- but it probably isn't worth paying. I followed the how-to thread in the tech section and it was VERY easy. I have a set of spring compressors and didn't have to use them. You don't even have to take the back tires off!!!! Took me 2 hrs and 30 minutes and that included getting out tools, doing the job, putting the tools back, washing my hands, and driving it around the block. Honestly! I used Teins, but lots of people really like the Tanabe df210s. Although lately I've been hearing more about the goldlines.....

I ran Goldlines for 2 years on my 04, on my Envy I went with the TRD suspension and springs. WAAAAAY better than lowering springs on stock shocks and struts. Does cost more though and not as aggresive drop but close.
