How do you make your car sound like this?
This may be a stupid question, but how would I go about making my car sound like this?

And I do know that not just Civic's sound like that. I've heard Mazda Protege's and Toyota Corolla's sound almost exactly like that too!
I hear Civic's, Integra's, and Accord's like that all the time, but I don't want to go up to them and ask, what makes your car sound that way? lol...ya know?
Thanks guys in advance!

Just get a raspy sounding muffler and you'll get that sound or just run anything that'll let you flow as much as possible. Those guys in the video sounded like they were running straight pipes. Sounds like my CRX after when I first dropped in my B16. The header was too short so I had to drive it to the muffler shop with an open header.
Definitely sounded nice but would definitely get annoying for everyday use.

Cool MPEG.... Hey That's Infineon RAceway (Still Sears Point Raceway to me).
Kinda raspy sound to me so I guess you just change the muffler into a free flow with a big *ss tip? Stylis - you want to add to this...

Yeah...I love the sound of those exhausts...
hmmm.... Right now, I'm running my TRD Exhaust, and AEM intake, I might consider getting a new exhaust or something....
I'm gonna accomplish my goal somehow...
I'll keep trying...
thanks.....

you remember back in the day when we use to put a card between our bicycle rim.. that was a cool noise....i think if you get an 8"x11" cardboard piece you might be able make that noise on the xb.. that would be a lot better than that ricer sound...
lol!
or just strip the audio from a movie that you like the sound..
hook up an external speaker/horn...
and just play the mp3 when you drive...
just make sure you have all the sounds you need...
riceaccelerate.mp3
ricehardaccelerate.mp3
ricedownshift.mp3
ricerev.mp3
etc.

Has anyone tried a supertrap muffler yet they have tanable baffles, back in theearly eighties we used them our dirt bikes and later they came with ones for cars, they made a world of difference on my XR- 500
