If you have heard already---there is a BOYCOTT going on of all EXXON/MOBILE gas stations across the USA. No gas is to be purchased at any EXXON/MOBILE until gasoline returns to the $1.30 range. NOW the question is: Are you going to be part of the SOLUTION or remain part of the PROBLEM. If you can pass this on to your entire e-mail list-----in a matter of days close to 300 million will know about this BOYCOTT and follow suit. We have to put a hurting on the largest of the large and the others will follow along. Its all about supply and demand. Thanks for your effort. PJRACER
So what are we supposed to do, boycott until we're pushing our rides to shows?
No oil company has control over the pump prices, much like a farmer has zero control over what the price of his crop is. This is what defines a commodity. Orange juice, gold, silver, oil, cotton....these are commodities. Rent an old flick called "Trading Places". First off, it's funny as all get out. Second off, you can learn a tiny bit about the commodities market. But mostly, it's just funny.
Sorry, my compliance would be nearly useless, I get about 90mpg in my TnG 150. Last time I "filled" up I put 8/10ths of a gallon in and had gotton 78miles out of it.
Yea, I don't think that kind of a boycott is going to work, but I do like the enthusiasm.
I only buy top tier fuel anyway, and Mobil is not part of it.

Gas is close to $7 a gallon in Great Britain, and most of Europe hovers in the $6 range, yet us fat, spoiled Americans get ____ed when we pay less than HALF of that for our fuel.
Get real. Do you REALLY believe that some half-a$$ed "boycott" of a company that makes net profits that double the GNP of Saudi Arabia is going to get Exxon-Mobil to lower their prices? If you do, you're deluded.
They could raise the prices to $4/gallon, and we'd all continue to buy it.
What most Americans don't realize is, we're the lucky ones. We always have been, and we'll continue to be.
Gas is NOT coming back down. Get used to it, or get a bicycle.

WARNING: Do not read further unless you want to be ____ed off.
I for one welcome higher gas prices. It was a big factor in my choice of buying an xB.
Americans are getting CHEAP fuel, as previously mentioned. I think the only way to get Americans to quit buying gas-guzzlers is to hit them in the wallet. They will NOT look into commuting alternatives (carpools, bikes, walking, running) until IT REALLY HURTS to continue driving solo everywhere.
I understand it sucks when we have less money to spend, but think of the benifits to the environment by reducing fossil fuel usage.

Yes it is about supply and demand. If you want to reduce prices you need to increase production or reduce consumption. Shifting consumption from one company to another is not going to do anything. But go ahead and boycott , I'll enjoy the short lines.
squalllheart ----- sciontcya ------ scionofPcfl ------You are all losers and part of the problem-------waaaaa, waaaaaa, Get a life
We don't need that kind of attitude here. Especially from something started with a chain letter that will accomplish absolutely zero. But good luck w/ your boycott, this thread is only headed downhill.
