Default QUESTION ON CHANGING REARVIEW MIRROR LED's

Does anyone know how I would go about changing the leds from any of the ebay rearview mirrors to green leds?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I would think you have to use the "oven" method and heat up the tail lights until you can pull them apart. from there, when you have access to the circuit board, you gotta solder the LEDs out and put in the new ones. This is what I thinks.
