Default CAI question

This has been on my mind for a little while now, i don’t know if this has been talked about exactly but..... A buddy of my family sells this product called Thermal Cool, its basically a spray that he sprays on roofs and Attics to keep them cool during summers and such, he said he had coated his CAI for his Lexus 300 SUV, i was just wondering if there would be little or any hp gain with this product used on a cai? Sorry if something like this has been covered, was just something on my mind.. Later "K"

Actually what would be better and probably more safe is whats called Thermcool wrap.....its like a ace bandage style wrap that you put on your exhaust or header or intake to keep the heat from everything else away from there....and it keeps heat temp down when coming from the certain pipe that your wrapping.....you will see no power gains
