Toyota Racing Division (TRD) Product Engineer — Supercharger Systems



The TRD Division aftermarket products group is looking for an experienced calibrator to develop supercharger systems for Toyota and Scion vehicles. The successful candidate will oversee the development of new supercharger kits from prototype through development and launch, resolve post launch quality or drivability issues, mapping of engine management system to allow system to meet performance and emissions targets, and ensure that development milestones are achieved on schedule and regularly communicate status to management. You will have a thorough understanding of internal combustion engine theory and application, including engine management systems, mechanical systems, OBDII emissions systems calibration, and regulatory compliance and certification requirements. Toyota-specific engine controls calibration experience is a plus.

not sure why they'd even post that sort of position when they've discontinued half the trd superchargers already.

 

Maybe that is why there are looking for someone new.
