Default 30,000 miles / 31.8 MPG

I just hit 30,000 miles the other day, almost exactly to the day from when I bought the XB.Overall mileage came out at 31.8 miles per gallon, pretty good I think. My daily commute is 75 miles roundtrip, about 1/4 surface streets and 3/4 freeway.

FYI the lowest price I paid for a gallon of gas in the period 5/04 to 5/06 was $183.9 om Jan 13, 05 and the highest was today at $3.29.

Forgot to mention its an automatic

Awesome!

I get 29-30 mpg myself, but my commute is a lot of stop and go traffic (Southern California)

I have about 12K miles on my 2006 xB Auto

I'm in Manhattan and I'm very surprised to see how well the xB gas mileage is in stop-and-go traffic. I thought it would be horrible, like 20mpg or something, but it's still relatively high.

I haven't had the time to calculate my mpg though - whenever my pops borrows the car, he always puts in more gas so i always have to restart my count....

lol.... parents!
