Waved to a fellow tC owner in Glen Rock PA yesterday on the way to work. See a few here and there around York, but was just wondering how many Scion owners there are around here, and if anyone would like to meet up sometime... any Scion owner

I'd also like to see how some local tC owners have done their stereo setups,... I have a sub and amp that I kept from my Sunfire when I sold it, and it doesn't fit too well in the trunk, so it's not installed yet.

So if you're in the area, and would like to meet up, post!!

There's a few of us in York! I just traded my 06 tC for an xB last week so I haven't been following the posts very well... too busy playing with the new toy!!!

I didn't have any real mods on the tC anyway, just lots and lots of overpriced accessories.

What part of York are you in? I'm in Hellam. I'm always up for a mini meet!

If you see an envy green xB in town feel free to wave furiously at me! I know there's another RS3 in York but you've got a good chance it's me. I'll keep my eyes open for you! I think I've only seen one Super White tC in a while.

Hey will do!! I live in Glenville actually, couple miles west of Glen Rock... but I work at th 911 center near the prison lol. There is 1 or 2 other Classic Silver tC's I've seen (don't know if the 2 I seen are the same ones or not), but until my plate gets in, I'm probably the only one with a temp MD registration tag and no inspection stickers... no fog lights... no spoiler. The dealer (Bill Kidd's Toyota Scion in Cockeysville) suggested not financing a spoiler or anything, just savin up and getting it, so I didn't. A girl I work with's bf/fiance has a decked out tC in either Black Sand Pearl or Flint Mica (anytime I've seen it it's been dark), and I've seen a dark blue one,... but I've seen a few more xb's then tC's. Ugh I'm rambling lol.

Anyways, I think a mini meet would be super! Hmmmm now just when....

You must not have financed through the dealer to get that good advice! Not only is it best to not finance through them, you can get them cheaper too. I should've ripped off my foglights for you before I traded it in! lol

I work near the prison too. I'm kind of new here so if there's a lot of prisons in the area, I'm talking about one in NE York.

I was a classic silver and saw a few others but I had the tycs! The last white tC I saw was on 83N in MD with a matress diagonally on the roof. I passed him very quickly for my own safety.

He had peeled off the "h" and "l" from the "Diehl" dealership logo on the back so it said "Die tC."

I did the same thing on my xB for a few days.

Let me know your hours and maybe we can set something up for lunch or after work. I have standard 8-5 M-F hours with a little flex depending on how busy I am.

"Die tC" .... LMAO Diehl tried to screw me over BIG TIME... so that's why I went to Bill Kidd's in Cockeysville, MD. That story is somewhere in the car dealership experiences forum.

Right now my work schedule is quite out of whack. Monday, I work from 7am to 4pm... I have a police ride along with Springettsbury PD for work. Tuesday 8-4, Wed 4pm to midnight, Thurs 8-4, Fri 4pm to midnight. Sat and Sun off. (I work near the York County Prison... only one I know of lol)

We don't really get lunch breaks, we're understaffed to the point we basically have to eat at our desks. It's fun learning how to say "York County 911" with a mouthfull of food so you can be understood lol. So lunch, unless you feel like eating at the 911 center for like 15 minutes or so unfortunately I can't do lol. Our "lunch" times are sporradic too. Depends on what time someone relieves you. They're hoping once we get the CAD system (Computer Aided Dispatching) we can actually take a half hour lunch.

So that's my schedule for this comming week, and off on the weekend... so anytime I'm not working is cool with me lol. I'll shoot ya a PM with my number on it.

And come on York Scion peoples!! I know you're there!! I mean a 2 "car" Scion meet is fine, but I know you're out there!!!

durnit!!! 8am-4pm tomorrow. (Tuesday)... I guess technically tha'ts today... I did a 16 hour shift today, so my brain isn't working.

I know Saturday is 99% for me... but if it's going to be something Tuesday, you'll have to call me April, cause I'll be at work. lol. Can't get to the puter at work

Yo central PA crowd! I know it might be a bit of a haul for you, but we have meets here at the dealership in Hatfield, PA every other thursday night from 7-9pm. The next one is June 1st. I used to live in Lebanon, PA and that was about an hour and a half ride for me from where the dealership is. If you wanna hit a big meet with lots of awesome free Scion gear just come out... That sounds like a plan.... IF any one of those thursdays falls on the Thursday I have off (I alternate Tuesdays and Thursdays off every week). I THINK I'm supposed to have off that Thursday. So how about some details???
