Default pda computer/navigation in the car!

Anyone out there try to hook there pda into any of there video sources? My pda has a wireless card built in with bluetooth. I know the navigation and computer options of of it would be cool. Any ideas? Thanks again!

My nav setup just arrived, a Mitac Mio 168 PDA GPS. Came with car kit (gooseneck suction mount & cig. lighter adaptor)

Preliminary testing: works really sweet !! Wife-o's car has the Lexus nav. system (the gold standard) you could buy three of these gizmo's for what her system cost. Nav software included, GPS built-in. USA is 7 maps - roughly 1/2 dozen states per map, maps are under 256MB ea.

It does turn-by-turn, visual and voice prompts, address, POI, all in living color. Ordered an extra memory card approx. $50 so I can load up extra maps.

Now if I can get it to find the car keys.....

Which PDA?

I use a Palm Tungsten T3 and will be picking up a Tom Tom bluetooth GPS for in xB/on motorcycle navigation.

Well, it's not a true Carputer with GPS in the dash.

Here's mine iPaq on Travroute Jacket GPS. I had to use rubberbands to hold it to the Arkon Powered PDA mount for the iPaq because the jacket is a bit thick.

fr130 -

Cool, looks like it's pointing you the right direction so that's pretty much all that counts !!!!

I'm kinda partial to rubber banding things, anybody can go buy some bells & whistle extraganza but it's the rubber band folks that tend to get the ball rolling !!!
