I wipe my whole dash with a damp towel. What kind of little spots?

I use Armour All wipes on my dash, they work great and make the dash look black again. Waring, though, if you are going to use them, start in a place with a large surface area (like front of glove box) because the wipes are real moist when you first start. Also, make sure to use them on the whole dash. ( In the light you'll see the spots you missed).

Armour All makes the same type of wipes for glass / gauge plastic as well.

AS stated - a damp towel. It's no rocket science, it's plastic.

I use a water and isopropanol solution. Commonly known as eye glass cleaner. Works great on the gauges too.

I get a very soft terry-cloth rag ( I bought brand new ones for this purpose), rinse it in hot water, and then ring it out 2-5 times to get all the water out. Now that the rag is moist ( not wet) I take the rag , and GENTLY wipe the plastic around the speedo/tach. I use the same for the clock area . I would not use any armor-all product on you scion except the cleaning wipes ( purple top)I use the same damp cloth to clean the dash since the armor-all wipes leave lint!

I use Zaino Bros stuff EVERYWHERE! Plastic, Glass, Paint, Tires, Wheels, Dash, Etc. Too bad they don't got a carpet polish, I'd use that too.

Zaino is by far the best stuff around.

Novus Plastic Polish is what I use on my PT Cruiser. It was highly recommended by other PT and motorcycle enthusiasts. It removed some scratches I accidentally put onto the acrylic gauge cover on my PT and most of a scratch my dad put into the painted airbag cover when helping me re-install the dash improperly. It's a two or three step system, depending on the level of damage. Start with #2 (or #3 if scratches are really bad) and then finish with the #1 polish, which helps resist static and reduces dust collection.

This stuff is easiest to purchase on Ebay IMO. There is also a smaller kit for less $$$. I'd say this stuff is worth every penny. I purchased the 8oz (large kit) and have used it on both of my vehicles.

Those spots are on the inside of the plastic. At some point somthing was sprayed on or around the plasic, and the residue formed on the inside. My Focus did this once, and I just replaced the plastic-it was like 35 bucks.

Hey Unfocused, where would I be able to find that plastic guage cover? Dealer? Would it be hard to replace it. I don't even feel like messing with that.

Your dealer will be able to order you a new one- how much it will cost i dont know. I would try and clean the inside of the plastic like described above.
