Default Gauge glare?

I just got my indigo ink xA on Saturday and so far love it. However, i noticed that the only shiny plastic part of the dash is the gauge surround for the sped/odo and that there's a pretty nasty glare on the windshield? Turning the dash lights way down helps a lot, but has anybody tried remedying the problem, or am I the only one bothered by it? Otherwise, great car.

the area around the guages is the only plastic on the dash that isn't textured. it is a matte plastic, but it seems the dash material itself or the textured plastic on top of the vents and radio would have been less reflective. even during the day i can see that the plastic on the speedometer surround reflects the white of the guages more than the plastic on the side of the basically black tach. (i'm realize i'm being pretty picky and actually its the only thing i've really noticed that bugs me about the interior.)

I probably don't notice it because I have tinted windows...
