Hey. I was wondering what vehicles people are trading in or selling for the Scion TC and why. This is my story...
Car: 1999 Silver Mustang GT running a 13.4 in the 1/4 mile
Reason: Gas milage (only getting 13 mpg) and insurance ($305 a month)
Im selling off a 94 Firebird Formula.... gonna be a big change, but Im at the point in my life where money is a big concern... gas milage and the fact I can pay off this car and have no car payments for years. Insurance isnt a concern.... my rates will go up $100 every 6 months (raised to $825 every 6 months)
Selling my '98 Mustang to buy a Tc, hopefully if I can get enough money for it. Loved the car, sick of American cars that hold NO value and hate having no traction in the snow. Looked for a car, I prefer new, around $16000 - $18000 and the TC had everything I wanted...and more.
I'm trading in my 99 Ranger. It's got 110,000 miles and shakes really bad once you hit 60. Its actually kinda cool cause you don't have to look at the speedometer to know when you hit 60. I just hope it makes it a couple of more weeks for my TC to arrive.

00 Focus. Lots of mods and still slow(damn automatic). Other than that, it's been 4 years and I'm ready for a change and a 5spd. My car club is branching out an import division so I'll be heading that up with the tC.
78K miles, too many problems(transmission related), insurance is high($300 a month, my fault  ). need something cheaper, and would like some FREAKING LOW END TORQUE!!! also, the tC is gonna be hot on the market, and looks to have alot of potential. its gorgeous too.

1993 Mazda 323 with 150,000 miles on it....dont' laugh! We had some good times, but it's time to let my baby go. No major problems on it at all, it's a great small hatchback and hopefully the tC will be continuing it's tradition. I hope to sell it for about $1500, if not I will donate it for a tax writeoff.

selling my 1995 mazda millenia. I had it for the past year and a half. It was my first car. For a 1995 it has a lot of standard things - leather and sunroof, plus I tinted the windows and the sunroof, added in a stereo (JVC mp3, which got stolen, now it has an AIWA), Viper 550 remote start. But the repairs on it tend to get expensive, its a 10 year old car and Im ready to move on. Waiting for my Flint Mica AT to arrive on July 3.
1996 Toyota Camry LE V6 2 door is getting traded in along with a 2002 Buick Century. Gramps gave me his car when he passed away and I have my Camry so I figure I can trade them both in and get something brand new. But I love my camry and wouldn't be trading it in for a long time if I hadn't inherited my grandfather's car.
I am selling a '96 Civic Ex Coupe. I love the car and it only has 69K miles but it's time for an upgrade :-). The tC will be my first new car, I'm pretty stoked.
