Default I've decided....

...that i will be putting decals on the side of my car. They're going to be of hibiscus flowers but i just have one problem: what color? I was trying to go with a blue and black theme with my car since my car is black and my interior LED and cup illumination is blue. Now, should my decals be silver or blue? Im stuck.

Can someone help? I like both but i need another opinion.

how bout alternating shadows of silver and blue.... get duplicates of the flowers in both colors... then you can have them alternate... example.... blue on bottom.. then put silver ontop of it but just slightly off center so there is blue outline behind about 1/2 the silver.... then you can do the next one silver on bottom blue on top.... or every 3rd flower or whatever....

just a thought...

I agree with Kekai but if you decide to stick with one color then I'd go with the silver because it'd show off great against the tint and black color!

actually, go three colors...

Do what Kekai is suggesting anf then pick a VERY out there color like hot orange or yellow just to throw a very few accents in there. People alwasy tell me teh green in my graphics is what does it for them even though the rest of it is pretty cool.

depends on the type/color of vinyl, size etc..... mine cost about 3bens... but the color i used was a special order.... that and i ordered extra... i have about 10 large tikis still i havent used...

Benilda... thanks for the compliments .... and yes... i can see what Dustin is sayin about a 3rd color........ you would only have to order like 1 or 2 flowers (if they are the same size as the rest that is).... and i could see.. just adding that 3rd color to a petal or 2 of each flower.... not the whole flower.... but thats just me.... but a 3rd color tossed in there would be cool.... not for all... but just a flower here or there

funny thing is.... my gf Jenn.. wanted me to do hibiscuss flowers down and around my car if i got a 2 tone...... good thing your going with it... now i CANT do the same grahpics...... THANK!!! .

my original idea was stars until i saw an xB and a tC on sciongirls.com both with stars on their car. I was bummed for a bit til i decided on my hibiscus flowers.

Ima go to the decal guy in spanaway and shoot em the ideas. Hopefully i'll have my decals done by...hmmm...maybe by the middle of July. yay!

once you find the look you want... it shouldnt take to long to make them... and install them... 1 week would be my guess from decision to install time.... unless you pick a color thats special order or something... you gonna have individual flowers to place? or gonna have it look like they are strung together like a lei ??

DO NOT GO TO ANYONE IN SPANAWAY>>>>>

there are two decal shops and both of them suck.

'The Decal Guy' is a 100% rip off and charges about 3 times over anyone else and Corey the 'Master Sign Wizard' is a total fruitcake and takes about 9 years to get simple jobs done.

If you need decals, Sign Town did mine, Kekai's and Jasons. They do great stuff and will do it for a great deal.

this is what my decals might look like. they'd be black with blue faded outline...like a airbrushed look. i might get them to where they're all different shades of blue so it looks like they're fading. they're going to be rising up at an angle from my front tire, like a splash. you know?

they said with installation it might not be more than $370. is that good?

signtown.. at least the one we went too is in Kitsap...
ask what the cost would be w/o install... tho that is probably color printed vinyl instead of 2 diff colors spliced together.. so that prob adds cost too...

but for install theres enough of us here that can help out with that for just the cost of a few sodas/drinks..and munchies...lol
