I know that this has been discussed in the past but the "maintenance required" light flashes 6 times when I start the car. Then stops. This is the first time I have noticed it.
Is this:
A. Normal all tC's do it and this is the first time I am noticing it.
or
B. I am getting toward my first 5,000 maintained, and the computer tracks this.
or
C. Go to dealership and put it onto the machine to get the code and get it check out because this is not normal
Please be A or B
A little help?

Mine came on, I changed my own oil. And, due to lack of laziness, I didn't reset it yet. It still has the light on. I'll reset it when I install my CAI tomorrow.
hold down the main trip button (with key in "on" position),
while still holding the trip button in, turn the key to "off" then back to "on"
once light goes out, turn car on
