quesition for RS2.0 owners about the XM

Does anyone have the number we are supposed to call to get our 3 free months of XM activated? My local dealership doesnt know, and i called XM direct and they said they dont know anything about this 3 free months deal. TIA

in your manual is the phone number but not the activation code.

It says to contact your dealer for the promo. I havn't done it yet but other people here have with rs2's. They used a older code i think.

your radio code is in sat mode of the radio. just got to channel 000 and it will give you the code.

No they dont .. I called once and the person ask me for the same code. So I called my dealership and they told me there is no code. All you have to do is give them the radio id and your vin number.

I called them and told them I just bought a Scion and I was supposed to get 3 months free & no activation fee. CSR took my radio ID and I got my XM started. I believe the old code was "XMSCION03".

Going a little off topic here, but does your XM sound like crap? I always notice the music sounds very metalic, almost like a bad MP3. But when I switch to FM or iPod it sounds fine... ???

check your tone settings I think they have different setting for each mode, anyways I registered mine on the internet and then told them I was supposed to get 3 months free on the phone and they did it like that
