Default Rear Wiper chatter

When I use my rear wiper it tends to chatter on the return stroke. I'd expect this if the window was too dry, but this happens even if it is very wet. Anyone have a fix?

(I think I would have been happier if they had left the rear wiper/washer off entirely rather than putting on that cheap plastic arm along with "Mr. Dribble"!)

I just had that on the way home from the san fernando valley meet. I was just hoping that the window was dry but it looked as though there was some water. It was after a couple minutes of use but the exact same thing, on the return stroke. Weird.

i've run it for extended period of time (~30 minute drive) and had no issue with the window chatter... did y'all get something on the wiper? beyond that y'all all drive xBs so I don't know, maybe it's just a special feature for you guys

I know it may not make much sense, but I hope you guys can remember those product called "RainX" and such sort. Well, I'd say its those coat that Toyota have used(?) to repel some water, I think that is caused by a thin layer of Silicone, which tends to make wiper blade skip or studder at certain point. I just recently found this out my self by removing that coat by using some Japanese product I bought over in Super Autobacs, and used a fresh coat of water repellent. So my guess is that it maybe due to a old or dirty winshield, which may need a good cleaning to remove any oily film.
