Default I Need A Resonator.

Here is a pic of my Tsudo N1 Catback's midpipe w/ the resonator (pic borrowed by KJIN's actual midpipe):

Click the image to open in full size.

Now the question is.. what size of resonator should I get to pair up with the resonator I already have on the tsudo midpipe? I went to check what size it was and it's roughly about 12-13 inches long. and it doesn't cut it for me.

The reason I want to get another resonator is because it's too loud and there's rasp past 4-5k rpm. and I only have an injen CAI with this catback. i can only imagine with a header... lol. I got stopped by a police earlier today but he let me go with a warning and recommended me to silence it up.. but there's no way i'm putting that ugly silencer on.

I was told by some of you guys to get a 30 inch resonator.. and that should cut it, but there's not enough room for 30 inches to be welded onto the pipe.. unless I take out the resonator that came with the midpipe and slap the 30inch resonator? hmm.

will adding a resonator still give me the deep tone? i mean, i want my car to still sound aggressive like the way it sounds now.. minus the rasp, the sputter when RPM's drop down.. but a little less loud.

and would any of you guys/gals happen to know the link to that one thread where they had sound clips of their exhaust of a before and after with resonators? I can't seem to find it. =\

Thanks in advance!

sp0t.

for sure.. the stock resonator quiets it down. i took mine off and it got a lil louder, so most likley bro.. it will quiet it down.

but im in the OC.. so its kinda far, but it is cheaper than buying one

Did adding a 15" resonator quiet it down enough?

i ditched the tsudo axleback and switched it with an HKS axleback. it was the tsudo muffler alone that caused the rasp cuz once i switched it with the HKS, that rasp from the 4-5k rpm range wasn't there anymore.
