Default xB final cost

how much was the final cost of your xB including tax??? also what were your monthly payments and your rates?

i talked to my dealer today and he said that the A/T xB's final cost including tax would be under $16,000 (in hawaii we have a 4% sales tax)....... would this seem reasonable???

not another one of these posts!!

I paid $15,200 for my 2005 TCM manual trans. I added fogs, spoiler, floor mats, rear bumper applique, and had the front two windows tinted to match...

I paid the exact price what scion.com's program said i should, plus $130 for title and registration.

Got to Love Oregon- NO SALES TAX.

I put 1k down

70 months @ 5.15= 230.19 a month!!

I think it may be 8.25 or 8.5% here in NY. I'll definately know for sure when I take delivery of my xB this week.

Forgot the tax percentage for CT, but I got my xB for ~16,500 out the door. I payed cash at time of signing (I sold my two previous cars-a 97 Jetta GT and a 03 Protege5).

Call your DMV up and ask about all the fees involved. They should know the tax.

Yeah, we're at 8 1/4 here in Cali. Governator Schwarzenegger made more off the sale than the dealer...

IIRC Washington state has 12.25% sales tax, but usually sales tax is different for auto sales. TN is about 7% for auto sales. My doc fees and all that were a few hundred, it was like 14500 plus tax, around 15500 total. No payments, car loans suck.

Florida doesn't have State sales tax (i.e. 0%), but the automotive tax was 6% for the xB I bought yesterday.

BTW, I bought it in Georgia, and they knew the Florida tax rate. When I asked, they said they know the tax rate for all the states in the SE since it's semi-common for people to drive 2-4 hours to pick up a specific car they're looking for.

7.75% - 8.25% in CA, depending on which county you're in when making your purchase.
