Windshield wiper metal insert scrached paint.

Hi all, I had the metal insert walk out of the passenger side wiperblade and scratched the paint above the windshield....I had that repaired at the dealership at my cost. 2 months later another insert started walking out again, I caught that before it walked out far enough to scratch the paint again. Has anyone else has this problem? 2006 XB

i had that same prob.... still have a streak across center of my roof above windsheild havent been able to buff it out yet.. ..looks like rubber just dulled the area...

What year boxes do you guys have?
I have read many threads on this topic, not new at all.
In fact, I thought that this was a problem exclusive to 2004 XB's.
There is a replacement recomended by THOMAS in one of those threads.
Search for 'wiper' in the exterior section.
