Default Looking to do the killertc "performace package"

is it really worth it...i do ALOT of highway driving and on my old car i had a full exhuast system on it and it was annoying on long dives. I want some more "umph" but eally don't want all the noise. Has anyone hee done this combo or a similar CAI and HEADER? What were the results and how did it sound...this looks like it might be my next purchase

Here you can do some research:

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=115371

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=115374

plus the many threads on the drivetrain and power section on other people's exhausts.

I prefer the full megan OEM style exhaust, I have it and do lots of highway driving

CAI & Header will sound terrible with alot of rasp. If you don't want alot of noise, don't get a header.

If you get a header, it will automatically be alot louder.

And again, like everyone else has said, it could be researched. People like to reference because they don't like to read the same posts that people like you like to create and spam the boards with.

WHAT'S THE BEST INTAKE?
WHAT IS THAT WHISTLING SOUND?
IS THE SKY BLUE?

I dont have an exaust yet. I only have an intake and headers (for now). You can feel a slight gain but it doesnt make much sense to let your tC take big gulps of air and restrict its exit. I understand that you want ummph without the loud sound but go get the results your looking for, i recommond you do get an exaust. Im waiting on a Draxas exaust!!

Want to take full benefit from the header, usa an exhaust, no noise and no fart can for u? Use a larger resonator then.

If you are going to install a header... you better have the Precision muffler or the GReddy SP2 to avoid attention that you would not like...

Install the Precision muffler or the GReddy SP2, they are almost OEM look... but also they would make your car quiet in combination with a header... in addition to that they would increase your performance... (I dont know the Precision muffler, but the SP2 could increase by 6whp)
