hey guys, just wanted to start up a thread where football fans can talk about football stuff. just wanted to start off by asking...how bout them texans!? lol
lol..ok yeah that was a stupid pick..in preseason, mario has been less then a 1st pick performer, and reggie..well he's living up to his name lol. but im really lookin forward for the season even w/o reggie bush
Im a HUGE MIAMI fan here I hope Culpepper does us right this year cause weve been hurting..lol
Speaking of the Texans Im going to the Miami -vs- Texans game Oct 1st!!!!
your going down bishes...
lol, i think culpepper was a good adition to miami, esp. with chambers there as a WR. as for us going down..mayb mayb not. the texans are a different team this year lol
Heres a synopsis of the Bears QB situation right now.
1st String- Rex Grossman. To date he has started 7 games or so, has never gone a season without injury (three seasons in a row, yes he got injured his rookie year that everyone forgets about). I think he is 3-4 or so.
2nd String-Brian Griese. The best passer rating QB the Bears franchise has EVER had. Fact. Not much else to say...a seasoned vet.
3rd String-Kyle Orton. Only 4th round or later pick to win 10 games rookie year. Did everything that was asked rookie year after being propelled from 3rd string to 1st string in one week.

i agree orton managed the offense but thats all he really did. he took good care of the ball, i.e. little turnovers. the bears D is really what won games for them last season. rex is more skilled at that position than orton (at least in the couple of games i've seen him in). and if he stays healthy this year, he gets the opportunity to show it.
well if all your concerned about is the QB stayin healthy and not necessarily making plays, just wait til grossman get's injured and u mayb orton will start then lol
