Default Buying new TC

I will be purchasing a new TC within 3 weeks. I am thinking about getting the Flint Mica, 5-speed manual. The options I hope to get will be the spoiler, exhaust system, cold-air induction, and the carpet/cargo mats of course. My question to everyone is should I get the automatic or manual because I'm curious on the durability of the clutches and don't want to spend an arm and a leg to replace them in 20000 miles or so. Also I'm curious if the exhaust is a sweet, low sound or is it "I rock rice" crap sounding ( that really annoyingly loud exhaust usually common on honda civic crx). Please give me your feedback.

It's a 3 cylinder so it will always have a ricey sound. If you are going to be doing performance stuff than go with the manual.

Actually its a Double overhead cam (DOHC) 16-valve VVT-i 4-cylinder. So i dont know where you got the idea it was a 3 cylinder, which is not correct.

Default Got Rice?

Well i heard it sounds pretty good, not like a bee in a can, but a nice purr... definetly noticable... I'm getting soo damn impatient, i'm ready to transfer all my goods into this tC... Then just wait on the Supercharger, and some body mods and i'm ready for NOPI in ATL...

My whole theory that the exhaust will sound good is that my friend owns a Mini Cooper S and his exhaust is nice. I like the purr sound as you put it. I think the only things i will do to my scion when i get it will be the cold air, exhaust, and maybe lowering coils. I dont want to go extreme b/c id like to make it look mostly stock but with nice upgrades.

Body mods are a "Maybe"... depends on how it looks later after a billet grille and some upgraded lights, etc.

Default Auto Flint Mica

Yeah, that's what I'm gonna get and I already have a test drive, the automatic is awesome and of course it's worth for the addition $800.00 if you're gonna keep your tC at least for 5 years. I have a miata (manual...duuhhh....) and I'm so ready to have an automatic tC...... Flint Mica baby!!!
