I just replaced my TRD front lip with a new abs front lip spoiler but then after I installed my lip the old lip left some ugly holes on my bumper, I am going to take my car to a body shop to cover up the holes including the holes from the license plate but its gonna cost me a few more hundred bucks. Anybody had similar probs like mine? any suggestions?

im no body mechanic but im sure if you tape up the back fill in the holes with some body filler. and sand it down to perfection. you could just get it repainted instead of the all the work done there.
no, you have to use stuff for bumpers, basicly you have to fill the holes with the liquid plastic(bumper repair stuff) its about 60 bucks for the stuff, and another hundred for the gun, then it all has to be ground down, your better off getting it done by a pro, because the paint on that lip looks like butt

Good suggestion guys at least i have some options to think it over, no regrets about the new lip though it fits fine except that you have to do some extra work to fit in the lower grill.
Here's another pic of the holes with lip...

the best way to do it...is get a product called fusor. it is basicly super super car glue lol. throw some duck tape on the back of each hole and fill the holes with the stuff. let it dry for a couple hours. then go back and sand it flat. once its flat, take some bondo/plastic whatever you want to call it and do a very very minimal and very thin whipe over each hole. let it dry a good hour or so. once that is done..take it to a bodyshop and hope you did it right.
in all honesty. it will be about the same price to buy a new bumper and have it painted, than to have a shop fix it.
before anybody tries to contradict me. i work in a bodyshop. i have filled holes like this before. it is not easy nor does the finished product look right. you will get pin holes, you will get a wobble. normal people wouldnt notice it, but car nuts would.
my professional suggestion is to buy a new bumper.
if you have any other questions, let me know.

it will cost the same to do the repairs yourself, maybe a little less, but you won't be pleased if you don't know how to do it, if you take it to a shop, they could have it fixed in a few hours, and you will be really pleased with the work
